I had a gastric bypass 13 years ago and had done well until 4 years ago. The pandemic was the beginning of struggling again. I’ve struggled with my weight since elementary school. I’m 66 now and have gained 60 lbs in the past 4 years. After my bypass I lost 234 lbs in 11 months. Why do some of us struggle our entire lives to maintain a healthy weight, but our friends appear that their weight is never an issue. It’s frustrating but I am very glad I did my gastric bypass.
