How many times should I exercise in sync with what I eat.

I've lately poundered the idea of adjusting how often and long I exercise based on what I eat. Regarding sweets I would like to ask how much I should exercise to counter the food I eat based on food intake.

  1. I wouldn’t try to “exercise off” individual foods. It’s usually better to aim for regular activity you enjoy and focus on overall eating habits rather than compensating for sweets or treats. Even small, consistent changes can make a difference.

  2. I wouldn’t try to exercise to “cancel out” specific foods. It’s probably better to focus on regular activity that you enjoy and a balanced diet overall. Even a daily walk can make a difference.

  3. Hi . Exercise can help you burn more calories, but the amount of calories you burn depends on the intensity and the length of the exercise. We are not medical or exercise science experts, but you should be able to google exercises that will help you burn off some of the sweets you eat. For instance, you could search, "How many calories are in a Snickers bar?" Then, when you have the number of calories, you can ask "How long and how hard should I bike/walk/run/swim to burn XXX calories?" Does that make sense? - Lori (Team Member)
