What has been the hardest part of getting started?

Starting a weight management plan can feel intimidating. What has made getting started on one challenging? Have you felt overwhelmed by all of the changes you'd like to make? Is it the fear of disappointment? Or something else?
Being exhausted and being on this journey alone were the biggest barriers to getting started for me.

Hi Lori, my sister's name is Lori...you just don't see that name very often. I'm always on the "change" path...I live with a friend called Bipolar Disorder. I'm always looking for a better way to think and live. I'm heading towards the moon of change... teehee!

Never thought of bipolar as a friend. I have noticed I get more done and feel better in my skin when I'm on the upward side of my life.

You've hit on such a powerful truth. Taking that first step into something new, especially when it concerns our health, can absolutely be the hardest part. It's completely normal to feel that uncertainty when you're stepping away from what's familiar and hoping for a "soft spot to land."
It takes lots of courage, but it sounds like you're really tuned into that delicate balance between hoping for a positive outcome and pushing through the initial discomfort of change.
Have you taken that first step yet or are you still deciding on a direction? - Lori (Team Member)

The hardest part of making change forward is taking the FIRST step...a different step from what is familiar. Just hoping there's a soft spot to land and then getting up and going forward to a better life. ❤️
