I hear you, ! It gets so much harder to lose weight as we age for a lot or reasons: our metabolisms slow down, we might have medical issues we didn't have in our younger days and our social and financial situations might make eating well and exercising difficult.
We are not medical experts, but, personally, I have found that lifting weights has helped me maintain my weight and even lose a few pounds. Just 15 minutes of weight lifting can boost your metabolism for the next 24 hours. Muscle also burns more calories than fat. I keep some arm weights in my home office and do a few reps each day.
Have you talked to your doctor about your struggle to lose weight? Your doctor might have some ideas you haven't considered. I hope you get feedback from others in the community as well.
Wishing you the best. - Lori (Team Member)
