How has obesity impacted your ability to "fit" in?

In a society where the "ideal" body is slim, how does the lack of accessible furniture and spaces contribute to your experience with obesity? Do you feel pressure to conform to smaller spaces? What do you do in these scenarios?

  1. Yes it has in some ways like driving make sure the seat belt no too tight. And shifting my leg from break to gas. Trouble breathing when I walk and take stairs up to my apartment. And the most I hate on Dr notes patient is obese when describing me

    1. We here you, . Have you have weight issues most of your life or is this new for you? I wish doctors would at least bury that note somewhere in those charts. It can feel so defining. I'm sure there is much more to you than your obesity. Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)

  2. There's not enough space here to list all the situations, but there are enough tears.

    1. You have said so much with so few words, . I wish the world had more compassion for those with larger bodies. Sending lots of gentle hugs your way. - Lori (Team Member)
