Since I was a young girl, I struggled to manage my weight and keep myself in check when it came to food and everything connected to it. I have lived with obesity and weight struggles in various stages for the better part of 25 years.
Having yo-yo dieted my whole life and before I was 15 I was seeking weight loss products.
It has been an arduous journey, often faced with the relentless torment from others in my younger years, and needing to learn to like who I am inspite of my weight, this level of love and acceptance is an on going task in my journey. A skill I am always sharpening.
I work hard to break the stereotypes in my world and community. This is something that lies deeply nestled in the corners of my heart. I am a mom to a little girl, this changed my perspective on so many things and my weight was one of them.
